First time using Couchsurfing and hoping for an awesome first-experience.
I won't write anything that is too personal, but if someone is interested, I have no problem taking the matter further.
At the moment, I have some exams I need to take care of, so I didn't really have the time to hang out with CS'ers in my own town, thus the lack of references.
Currently I'm undertaking law studies in Bucharest and I aim towards becoming an intellectual property lawyer or counselor. However, that isn't my only purpose.
Music has been one of the most influent things for me and I will ensure it stays that way even years from now. I'm not necessarily looking to create music (not because I wouldn't want to, but because I suck terribly at it; still, I will admit I didn't try hard enough until now because of other things intervening and because resources are limited; it won't be like that for long) Also I find it intriguing how something as little as common tastes can create lasting relationships and I was there to witness it a couple of times.
At the moment, I'm a bad guitar player, adrenaline fiend, interested in photography and learning piano (just so I can make the switch to synthesizers, hah) and running/training when I have time.
Also, I have an addiction for fragrances.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never solo travelled before, but it's the right thing for me to do right now. After I graduate, I intend to make it a habit because I think it's not worth living with "what if"-s. As for destinations, I have one city in mind that I would like to visit at some point, but sooner rather than later, which I will keep secret for now. I'm more of an urban zealot. While I can enjoy expeditions, hikes & co., I'm in my element within cities. (Seaside is ok too) So I hope Couchsurfing can become the platform through which I can meet people that have similar drives,.

I'm really fond of Iceage (danish punk band, not the movie, please put an end to this joke), HTRK, The Soft Moon, Drab Majesty, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, Tom Waits, Slowdive, Wovenhand, 16 Horsepower, The Cure, anything Aufnahme + Wiedergabe ever released and so on. Lately I ve been listening to alot of blues rock because I think it fits my current personality. Also Jack White is pretty much an accurate representation of how an artist should be viewing his work. Used to think the guy is an asshole. I m sure he doesn t give a fuck either way. However, Swans is my all time favourite.

Generally I'm fond of psychological thrillers, dark and absurd comedy. I enjoy the works of Derek Jarman, Olivier Assayas, Chris Marker, Jodorowsky, Zulawski, Leos Carax, David Lynch, Joachim Trier and Nicholas Winding Refn

I associated with existentialist authors when I was younger. Also I had a thing for beat poetry. At the moment I'm enjoying Bataille, Kierkegaard and psychoanalysis works (mainly Lacan and Jung)
