Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because travelling as a tourist is a lonely, boring journey. I want to interact with the locals, put a face on my experience, have someone next to me when stuff gets exciting.
Also, let's be honest, it's a cheaper option than staying at a hotel. I'm on a budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy time travelling films and those with surprise twists. Entries include: A Beautiful Mind, The Illusionist, Prestige, Inception.

Mostly I just watch TV series nowadays instead of films. Currently trying to find TV shows that actually have a message to tell or that at least make me curious to research by myself. Entries include: The Newsroom, The West Wing, Fringe, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who.

For books it's mostly science fiction or dystopian/history gone crazy type of books. It's interesting to see how people behave in all kinds of crazy situations and most of the time, these books try to send a message. Entries include: Foundation(actually most of Asimov applies), Ender's Game(and sequels/sidequels/prequels), Lord of the rings, The Hunger Games, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Harry Potter.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have 2 years of volunteering in an international student organisation during which I experienced a lot of adventures, met a lot of international people, helped organise several events and had an awesome time.
I'm also a Romanian so I can tell you the real story behind Dracula and other myths and stories about my country
If that still hasn't convinced you, I've been living in the Netherlands for a year, travelling almost every weekend.
Also, I've been in several countries and I can share my stories from there also.
