I have definitely caught the travel bug.

I love to travel, meet new people and learn about countries, communities and cultures along the way.

I often travel alone, and exchange trip stories with other travelers and gather ideas for future trips.

Meeting locals is always my favourite since I am always looking for something that is not mentioned in travel blogs, books, etc. I love to find the "off the beaten path" places in a city, especially restaurants where I randomly pick anything off the menu since I do not understand the language. (Trying new foods and translating the picture of the menu when I am back from my trip is always an interesting experience.)

I also have a really weird thing about trying McDonald's in every country! I love seeing the differences, you wouldn't believe how many there are from the food to the uniforms !

I'm on couchsurfing, because I am continuing my travels and believe this is a great way to meet new people.

I am looking for places to stay, fellow travellers and locals to have a drink with along the way.

Dont worry... my grandparents met me on the other side. :)

I've lived in a few different places which has helped me with languages - France, Spain and a few different spots in Canada (both English and French)
