I am doing my PhD in biology. I try to ski and climb as often I can, I love to travel and being outside!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made my couch surfing profile some years ago, but somehow I just used it once. Now I was on holidays in Israel and Jordan with a friend and we were couch surfing over there. We we're really lucky with our hosts and spend a really good time together. Therefore I updated my profile and would love to host and couch surf again.
Since I am in the end of my PhD, I have to work a lot and will not always have time to host people, but there are also less stressful weeks where I have time!

Interests

I love to be outside, to travel and every kind of outdoor sports. My favorites are climbing and skiing, right now I am looking for a mountain bike and if there is time left I try to surf, riding my road bike and the other fun things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best day's I've ever had traveling was in Panama: first we went surfing on a lonely island (actually I was more watching the others, not the best waves for beginners;)), on our way home we saw an humpback whale under water, later we went on a party with a lot of locals and ended the perfect day with a night swim and luminescent plankton.
