My absolute craze during a short summer break was to go and see Iran and the Aechemenid sites in the south and I've succeeded that also with help from CS.

With work I've traveled to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India allowing me to see for myself that part of the world that is exposed nowadays but remains hidden.

From my time in Kurdistan of Iraq:

As a CSer if you made it to Sulaymaniyah then you have normally seen a bit of Kurdistan already. This city is a bit of an exception in Kurdistan since it is allowing itself to be a little bit more liberal than the rest.

There are some interesting places to visit and people to meet.
