Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed atleast one night in almost every US state. I have slept on floors, couches, beaches, trains, vans, etc. About 98% of my travel experience has been positive and rewarding.

Interests

I love bicycles and riding them. My favorite are 80's Japanese and Italian bikes (steel). I've played drums for several bands, mostly hardcore/punks stuff. Traveling is an important part of my life and I try to do it as much as possible. I am a vegan and love to cook and consume vegan food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a broad range of music but am mainly into hardcore/punk/metal (www.last.fm/user/RoboIsGod).
I love film--my favorite movie is Trainspotting.
I like all sorts of literature but usually find myself caught up in social/political stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite travel memories are those from riding trains and the hidden treasures i see while doing it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mutual Aid! I love skillsharing and learning from one another. I would love to work on your bike for free and teach you how to do it in the future. I have a good amount of experience cooking/baking vegan and can certainly share what I know. I have played the drums for almost 10 years and enjoy playing with other people and giving lessons. Most of my learning has been directed towards political/social issues so I'd like to think I can educate others about that sort of stuff too.
