About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to live my life more intentionally and with more compassion and love.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'€™m Alex, lover of bikes, planter of plants. I€'m a chess enthusiast. I spend a solid amount of time in my garden.

I've been vegan for almost two years, so I don't eat meat, eggs, or dairy. I'm relaxed and friendly. I love great conversations and adventuring anywhere. I want to learn how to love people better and share

Interests

I cycle. A lot. Currently, I'm ultra-commuting by bike to San Diego for an internship. I love to play soccer, but I never have enough time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most interesting thing I think I've ever done was sleeping on Volcan Concepcion in Nicaragua. It's an active volcano on the largest freshwater island in the world, in lake Nicaragua. Six of us climbed up during the day with a bunch of food and water and made it to the lookout 1000m above the town we were staying in at the time. A few people went to the very top, but a couple of us who had already been there just set up the tarp and had a chat. We watched the sun go down, which was magical. At the same time the sun was crossing the horizon, the moon and stars were out over the top of the volcano. Probably the greatest thing I've ever seen.

I had lots of other great experiences in Nicaragua. Kayaking in Lake Nicaragua as the sun went down was pretty great.

That whole trip really was just a formative six months. We saw so many things that I really couldn't begin to describe everything.
