I'm from California most of my family is from Los Angeles but we're pretty spread out. I've been living in Spain for almost three years and sometimes I do miss Cali Weather and watching the Lakers on tv. I don't miss home too much because I think Madrid is a beautiful place and I've fallen in love with Tinto de Verano and drinking beer on the teraza.

I first moved to Madrid to participate in a Language Assistant program and I've been here ever since. I am really enjoying my time abroad and would love to meet new people, especially in Spain. I've traveled many places in Europe but I'm hoping this year I could explore Spain a little more. So far, I've only been to Barcelona, Granada, Zamora, and Segovia. I'm hoping to meet new people who could show me around! I'm excited to be apart of the couch-surfing community!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to get out of your comfort zone (if you were born shy like I was) and meet new people who are just as easy going and open as you are! It allows the opportunity to bring the world to my finger tips and learn about different cultures, lifestyles, and interest and share my experiences with others.

I think diversity is a beautiful thing and I will never stop learning about the people and community I share my space with. I promise I'm not running for Miss America but I think creating spaces where people can share culture and interests is more than amazing.

All in all, I would love to meet new people while traveling and get to know the world a little better.
