I want to experience other cultures and be able to explore something new outside of my small town that I currently live in.

ABOUT ME

I'm new to this couch surfing experience. I just recently graduated from a community college and want something new in my life. Many of my friends are at a major university and have expressed how much they want to see the world but are stuck at school and I've many adults who have settled down wish they had traveled which got me thinking that I needed to get out to explore more countries before I settle down for a family or go back to school. In the last year I worked my bum off at college to get an Associates degree as well as working full time as a nanny for 3 young girls. Over those two years I worked hard in order to go and see other places and meet really rad people. So now until September 2015 I hope I can meet a variety of you who will travel with me and who will host me :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone deserves to be happy. I believe you should find a job that you love whether it pays well or poorly but I just think its key to happiness for yourself and everyone around you. People get too tied up with following the way society tells you to do. Go to school, graduate, go to college, get a job right away and then get married. I've met a great deal of people who steered their own path and they are happy and successful and I think that a awesome. I think you should take opportunities when they come, don't be afraid to speak your mind as long as it's uplifting others, love who you love, and don't sweat the little things. A few of my favorite quotes are "don't worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of it's own".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing and to be honest I'm a little freaked out by it! haha. But I think it's a great start to meet people along my year of sight seeing and I hope to take away awesome friendships.

Interests

I love to be adventurous. Discovering new things others can't experience and photographing memories in any way, shape or form. I love watching NFL football every Sunday with my friends and family and I love to cook for big parties of people! Throwing together a "get together" for food and drinks is one of my specialties! I hope to one day make a career out of it. I like to get crafty. Pinterest is one of my favorite websites and I love to look up living room decor and how to decorate houses and make fun crafting activities for kids. Other than that I love to get out with my friends in the city of Seattle for some coffee and exploring places to take really awesome photos :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't a read a ton but when I find books that I like I'll read them within days! I jump anywhere from The Hunger Games, to Pretty Little Liars, over to Eat, Pray, Love and any types of romantic young adult wedding books. Funny, I know. Same with movies. I have to find something really good in order to watch it again. I love musicals and anything with Rachel McAdms or Sandra Bullock. As for music… I love it all! Besides hard metal and such. But I'm someone who will jump from Tom Petty, to Teisto, to Head and the Heart to Lil Wayne. I enjoy it all. Rock n' Roll, indie, country, and EDM.
