HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When hitchhiking I tell every driver about how great this project is, I guess that's about 10 people per day (not everyday of course)

2008: I spent my summer couchsurfing across the UK and it was AWESOME! that definitely left me wanting more =D

2009: On a hitching trip to France for New Year's Eve some people helped us out because we got stuck in Freiburg with nowhere to stay.. they were on hospitalityclub though^^

Kind of stupid some would say, but in February/March I went back to the UK again to see some of my Friends that I met on CS and introduce them to some of my friends that were travelling with me this time.

Hitchhiking to russia, we met some great people in st.petersburg, they showed us some nice (and affordable) bars where locals go. Kiev was also really nice place!

(#) festivals: mainly rock, metal (With Full Force), stoner (Stoned from the Underground), progressive, experimental

(%) nature: especially rivers, lakes and of course the ocean!! I can just sit and watch for hours...

(>) sports: kayaking/canoeing, bicycling, hiking, snowboarding, squash... I'love to try your favourite sport!

(+) cooking: I like the social part of it, and I like eating BIG portions. Usually my budged is quite low, so I cannot afford a lot of fresh ingredients but hey, what's wrong about a decent meal for 5£?
BTW I don't mind doing the dishes, too!

(?) discussions about any controversial topic, I am fair and can take different points of view.. as a matter of fact I love finding arguments for 'both sides'!

(*) streetart & graffiti, because I walk though the streets with open eyes - unfortunately I'm not good at it myself o0

Música, películas y libros

I like movies that are not set in the reality we all know. Directors have the possibility to play around with the surreal and at the same time make us aware of aspects of our 'real' life. An excellent example of this is 'A Clockwork Orange' by Stanley Kubrick.
