Hello everybody, I'm Alexandra, Alexe for short.

I don't really know where to begin... So I'll just tell you eight facts about myself.

1- I just travelled for the first time of my life, went up the west coast of California and Oregon and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. We hitch hiked all the way up the Coast and it's been such an adventure. It brought me the inner peace I was searching for.

2- I studied graphic design for 3 years, took a year off to figure out what I wanted to do and then, decided to go study fashion design for another 3 years.

3- I was born in Quebec City, were I grew up and spent most of my life up until two years ago, when I moved to Montréal to help my chances of getting work in the fashion design industry.

4- I've been in couple for the last six years with one of my best friends Antoine.

5- I'm a very outgoing person, that loves to meet new people and have fun.

6- One of my all time passion is food. I love discovering new restaurants and new flavours. But.. I need to admit there is nothing I love more then a big home cooked meal, prepared and eaten in good company.

7- I'm always up for boardgames. I simply love them, I think they are a lot of fun and that they are a nice way of bringing people together.

8- I'm a Libra, which makes me indecisive and a little bit hasty/impulsive. But also cooperative, fair-minded, sociable and easygoing.

So yeah, that was a little bit about me. Hope it gives you a pretty good idea of who I am.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is definitely a good place to meet and exchange with a whole new community. Antoine and I have met so much wonderful people during our trip that we will remember all our lives because of CS and we were hoping to meet some more amazing people hosting back home.

I also think this is a plateform where any traveler can find what he needs, it's a good way to travel cheap, to find a place to crash or just to meet new people to chill with all around the world.

Tips on request : If you have no references (or even if you do) please take the time to write request that feel more personal. I thought copy/paste wouldn't bother me as much but I've received messages that sound so formal and boring that it doesn't make me want to host you. If you are to send me a request please tell me a little bit about yourself and why you would like to stay here with us, I think it's the least you can do if we are going to share our space with you :)

Music : Lorde, Kings of Leons, Pink Floyd, Jean Leloup, Mumford and Sons, ABBA, Florence and the machine, Styx, Halsey, Les Colocs, Bon Iver, Genesis/Phil Collins/Peter Gabriel, Kongos, Queen. And I love to dance and sing to any 80's-90's or 00's best of.

Movies : Fight Club, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Donnie Darko, Inception, Trainspotting anything I've seen from Quentin Tarentino, Mommy, American beauty, The truman show, Alice in wonderland, 99 francs etc etc.. And don't get me started about series.

Books : They are mostly french but there you go.. L'écume des jours, Lorsque j'étais une oeuvre d'art, Nouvelle sous ecstasy, Je l'aimais, Le petit prince and as probably anybody born in the 90's The Harry Potter series.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

- Don't know if it's "amazing" but I've helped my mom and brother in some really dark times. I always take care of the people I love.

- Hitch Hiked all the way from San Diego to Portland

I can do chores or even cook a great meal ! Other than that I can share with you my laughs (plural cause it never sound the same lol)
