Ooh, well I guess it's about time I filled this in! My name is Alexei (Lexx works too) and I live in London which is pretty cool I suppose - there are definitely worse places around!

I am about to hit the big 3-0 but definitely not feeling my age in any way. I enjoy life as much as I can and am pretty lucky that my job is flexible enough to let me do what I love - travel. I have now been to 35 countries and the plan is to double that before I hit 40.

I have lived in Australia for a couple of years, travelled through South East Asia and Eastern Europe and about to head to USA and Canada for a couple of months. I try and get away for weekends as much as I can and see new bits of Europe or visit friends. London is great to visit, but I would rather not spend my weekends here!

I play a lot of sport, go to the gym, go running - I do a lot of exercise but that doesn't mean I don't like getting my hair down! Always on the lookout for cool bars to visit and new beers to try!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am lucky enough to be living alone while my parents are embarking on their new life in New Zealand so I currently have a spare room which is often used by my friends from all over the world.

It would be really cool to share my knowledge of London and show people this awesome city while also learning something new about their countries and cultures.

I am easy going, totally get the multitude of reasons why people travel and hopefully can provide people with a place from which they can enjoy London and the rest of the UK.

I haven't been cinema in England for about 3 years but I will watch pretty much anything. More into my TV shows at the moment. Breaking Bad! No spoilers, or you definitely can't stay!

What I Can Share with Hosts

IMPORTANT: I know a lot of people use couch surfing to get an experience of staying in a home and spend a lot of time with the host. Unfortunately, I work full time and spend most of my free time at the gym or on the tennis court. While I will tell you everything you need to know about London and try my best to show you a few things or go for a beer, please note that I am simply not around enough to guarantee spending quality time with you. Please only message me if you are self-sufficient and happy to spend a lot of time by yourself. Oh and I don't cook so don't expect dinner either! Other than that, come down!

You would have your own room with a double bed. You would have your own bathroom since my room is ensuite. You can use the kitchen, living room and even my room if you feel like it.

I don't actually have any tv channels apart from on a tiny living room tv and the quality is pretty crappy. So unfortunately there isn't much you can do to amuse yourself with. I have Netflix on my Xbox if you would rather watch tv than explore London.
