I like going out with friends and having a good time...or staying in with friends and also having a good time. When I'm traveling, though, I want to see and experience everything possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently doing an Aupair year in Germany and would love to travel around while I'm in Europe. I like the idea of couchsurfing as it seems like a nice way to meet interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music my default is hard rock/metal but my phone has a pretty wacky playlist that consists of Five Finger Death Punch, random German kid's songs, and the Crane wives.
I love movies. I especially love going to the theater. I wouldn't say I really have a favorite though. I guess I lean more towards sappy romance...or horror films depending on my mood.
I am proud to say that I finally managed to make it through Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen in a record time of only three months. Deutsch ist manchmal schwer aber es tut gut. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made it to a foreign country and am currently living in that country with a family that I knew virtually nothing about which I met basically through an online "dating" site where they speak a language I was nowhere near fluent in. I find that pretty cool, though maybe the word "amazing" is a little strong.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be awesome if we could go out together and do stuff around your town or I can also make myself scarce. I can tell you all about Michigan or whatever else you want to know about me/my life/my viewpoints on that wacky country I belong to. I may have only 22 years of life behind me but I have collected quite a few stories. Of course it goes without saying that I will tidy up after myself: I don't want anyone to make a fuss over me.
