ABOUT ME

Currently I spend most of my time as my alter ego BruiseBerry Pie #31 skating for the Derby Debutantes. Roller Derby has taken over my life and I wouldn't have it any other way :) I'm known as the team bruiser, I hit hard, skate fast and god forbid you get in my way. It's made me much more assertive and a stronger person.

PHILOSOPHY

I hate having regrets and I love getting in on the ground floor so I jump at opportunities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new to this couch surfing experience, but it's not much of a stretch cause derby girls travel all over. The cheaper the better, we're eager to help a fellow in need.

Interests

My life has been taking over by roller derby recently (much to the chagrin of my regular friends). But aside from the insanity of throwing my body in harm's way for fun, I'm a hard core movie fanatic (James Bond in particular). I've also dabbled in Costume/Fashion Design and Special Effects/Theatre makeup.

Music, Movies, and Books

The last movie I watched was Evil Dead 3 - Army of Darkness.
Any and all 007, Horror movies - Silence of the Lambs is a personal favorite, Musicals - I'm a contradiction in terms.

For books I generally sway towards male authors, don't ask me why, Ian McEwan, Jeff Lindsay, Nick Hornby, Iain Pears etc etc
