I am Alex, 25 years old, based in Hamburg, Germany. Currently in my master studies in international industrial engineering.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love to get to know to people from different places and cultures. As traveling all the time is not possible for me, welcoming people at my flat is the easiest way to do so.

When I am traveling on the other hand, I am not seeking to see all the tourist attractions but rather get to know a place and culture through its people. You get it.

Interessen

I share a Volkswagen Van with a friend that we rebuilt to a camper. I love working on it and traveling with it in Germany and Europa. Spontaneous weekend trips are my favorite.

I also volunteer in an association for kids with weaker socio-economic backgrounds where we build mentorships between them and students from local universities.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Travelled the US in a van after finishing high school.
Did an Erasmus exchange semester in Spain.
Built the interior of my own camper van - an old volkswagen police car.
Did a 700km bicycle trip along the Rhine and hope to do more of those trips in the future.
