Student at Moscow State University (Russian as a Foreign Language department). After graduation, I hope, I will be a real teacher of a Russian language for foreigners. From the age of seven to the present I play the saxophone (solo, in jazz band, in rock band, variegated career).

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music lover... melomaniac... I starter with a started pack of rock-kid: The Beatles, Nirvana, Queen, The Rolling Stones... Most of what i listened to is in my heart and now, but sometimes methinks that my heart is really elastic: in it coexists peacefully 2 David Bowie's albums, 75 live-records of John Coltrane, 5 songs of Bob Marley, a saltshaker half-full of Iggy Pop, a whole galaxy of rock-n-roll, jazz, post-punk, pop and disco singers and groups... Also, a quart of Kraftwerk's discography, a quart of classical music works of all time and from all over the world, a case of beer and Sex Pistols, a pint of The Smiths, and two dozen songs of Sparks. I'm very interested in the history of cinema, therefore, in each period I have favorite works. I have somewhat lost interest in books after a rich acquaintance with linguistics, but the list of my favorite books is no small (from Plato and Aesop to the poetries of Arseny Tarkovsky, Yegor Letov and Mikhail Krug).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I won an extremely prestigious music competition in Tver Oblast. I was trained the music-master who is highly respected by me (by the way, he and his methods are almost literally a ruthless jazz instructor at Shaffer and his methods from Whiplash, 2014 film). In the summer of the same year I was an odd-job man at the construction at the cathedral in our town and remembered my minute of glory onstage. There is a rumor that the coolest guys of our time for sure were jobbers in their times. Although maybe I won the wrong competition.

Teach, Learn, Share

In different periods of my life I was fond of music, literature, cinema, religions, philosophy, linguistics, history and drawing. None of these hobbies I haven't break up with. Day by day I am attracted to the different sides of these subjects. I think I have accumulated a certain amount of knowledge on various aspects of these topics. I will be glad to share something from my brain stocks and I will be glad even more to listen to you.
