ABOUT US

We are family, who likes to travel. I'm a journalist, it's my hobby and job. I like to meet different people and visit new places. My wife's occupation is a teacher of Russian language and literature, she is vegetarian and also likes yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We made 1-year traveling by hitch-hiking around the countries of the former USSR and Asia. We explored for us 15 countries and 3 different parts of Russia.

Interests

We like to do a lot of things, especially we adore art: writting, painting, drawing, music. We like playing guitar, piano, singing a little bit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got married (1 year ago, in February), hitchhiked more than 50 000 km, walked 50-70 km along the river banks in 2-3 days, jumped with a parachute, crossed the US twice and wrote a book about it, spent 1 year in the Army in the North of Russia beyond the Polar circle, won 3 National awards in journalism for travel notes about the Caucasus.

We want to have friends all over the world and can give everyone advices how to travel with a little budget, can teach you Russian or English languages, do arts and crafts. You will find that our experience is worth sharing with others.
