One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first day I arrived in Norway, wanted to get from my rental room in the countryside to Oslo. I saw in the board that the train is going to a station which is opposite from the one I need when I asked people, they told me I should just get on the train when the train arrives and I was in I asked an old lady if it is going to Oslo.
-No, it goes the opposite direction
-Should I get out and wait for the other train?
-let me see something maybe you stay on this Train until it gets to the final station, then it turns around and goes to Oslo, but let me see if there is a faster way.
-...
-oh, you have to get out here let me help you and get the train that is going to the opposite direction, but you have to hurry.
She then stands up and comes to the door. 2 minutes later she presses a button and the train stops
When I get out I see no station on the opposite side and also no way to go there without crossing the railways which are also covered with snow. But as a very smart person I am I don't lose myself I quickly run behind the train I didn't care I had no good observation going from behind was faster and I go to the opposite side, I then realize I have to get out of railway because the train might not wait for me and I am in the middle. I step to the side in the snow and the next moment my foot fell in the snow and now my balls was at the level of the railway. Meanwhile, people opened the windows and were shaking their hands and shouting something. The machinist also said get back the train is coming. I felt like an idiot running back and forth looking to get back to the train that only stopped for me to do my casting. When I got in the old lady was almost crying.
-oh am so sorry this was an express train it does not stop at every station, I am so glad you didn't try to jump on it
