I was born in St Petersburg, Russia and moved to London about 6 years ago. Work as a freelance photographer and an editor in a gallery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Working on an art project Baltic Exchange for which I will be travelling from London to St Petersburg and back, creating a complete circle around the Baltic Sea, exchanging objects with people I meet on the way. Travel dates are May-June 2011.

Photography occupies my mind most of the time, in some way.
Recently started exploring the blogging world. Traveling to remote bits of UK (and soon beyond!) on the motorbike.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that inspires... Recently read: Art of Travel by Alain de Botton. Generally collect arty books - those I can go back to again and again.
Watched: Man on Wire is very inspirational. The King's Speech - who didn't like that! The latest Woody Allen's is great too.

Not a great teacher but more than happy to share everything I know!
