I recently graduated with a degree in American Studies, and having spent a year in California has given me a taste for the States so I'd like to meet people who can show me the best of each area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know a couple of people who have couchsurfed and I love the concept. At the moment I'm just looking to be hosted but I hope in the future I'll be able to offer my couch to the lost and needy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet but chomping at the bit to join the couch surfing community.

I'm pretty easy going, I like films, music, comedy and all the usual stuff. I like staying in places long enough to really get to know them.

My Desert Island movies are potentially embarrassing but much loved: Amelie, Good Will Hunting, 13 Going on 30, Juno and Shaun of the Dead.
TV-wise, anything funny can reel me in: The Office, Arrested Development, Spaced, Green Wing, the list goes on.
I love the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon, The Strokes and most things I can sing along to.
And books.....Salinger, Fitzgerald, John Irving, Jonathan Safran Foer.... Currently reading 'Special Topics in Calamity Physics' by Marisha Pessl.
