About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Carpe Diem, that sums it all
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy-going and curious person. I'm not really outgoing but I like to meet and be with people. Travelling is my favorite thing to do. I feel like I'm really living my life only when I'm on the road. I'm sort of a nerd, I love to learn new things and I'm not afraid of looking like a fool when asking questions. When I'm not travelling the world, I'm an accountant. I like my career but I don't think my professional life defines me as a person, though.
PHILOSOPHY
Call it yin and yang or whatever, I think we live in a world of extremes and the path to happiness is to find the right balance between all those things. I think the human being takes itself too seriously. We are so little in this universe.
I'm an agnostic because I just don't know about the existence of god(s).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During a long stay in Asia, I was in Japan where I found it hard to meet with local people. Discussing the matter with other travelers in an hostel, they convinced me that CS was a great way to meet local people when travelling.
As for hosting, travelling made me realize how little I need to be happy, and how much I really had in comparison. So I thought sharing some of what I own with other travelers was only natural.
That being said, I haven't had the chance to be a host nor a guest yet!
Interests
I love to learn so anything like reading, surfing the internet, travelling, etc.. are things I like. I love hiking, nature, bonfires and looking at the starry sky.
