Devon and I are English instructors from the United States teaching at a university near Tokyo, Japan.

Our philosophy is to give back to our hosts. We are glad to help with language practice, cooking, childcare, teaching music (guitar and piano), cleaning the house, or any other tasks you would like help with.

And we would be glad to bring souvenirs and host you at our place near Tokyo for visits to Japan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like Couchsurfing because it gives us the opportunity to meet people that live in the actual locations.

Getting to spend time with the people that live there provides a more authentic experience.

We are more interested in meeting people than visiting tourist sites.

Teach, Learn, Share

We work full-time as university English teachers.

We also have experience teaching Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

We can teach guitar, piano, and the ukulele.
