Overview
About Me
I'm curious and passionate about anything. I like thinking about how people came to be what they are, although I, most of the time, come up with my own conclusions that don't have anything to do with the reality. Im laid back. A perfect combination for me is a coffee and a book. I adapt easily to circustance, so sometimes I like to be lonely and sometimes I like to be with many people around. Travelling made me develop more empathy to others and, funny enought, less to my closest friends or family, but I getting used to that. Lol. I can be quite stubborn. I am very critical with my country, but I guess I have reasons... On the other hand I love Spain too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend told me about it in 2009 and I made an account mainly because of the free accomodation to be honest. Now I can say that this is more than that. I have many good experiences either hosting or hosted and It has helped me to get to know people from many places and to have deep unforgettable times.
Interests
I like reading alone in a nice coffee place.
I love walking by the seafront in my town, Gijon.
I enjoy when I have Christmas with my family after being far from home for some time.
I get excited when watching football with friends on a saturday night.
I like having beers with couchsurfers.
I eat better food when I am at my parents or my grandparents.
I have learnt how to cook thai food, specially red curry chicken.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summer '15, I spent a month in Cuba, most of the time in Havanna. The best fulfilling experience I had so far in terms of giving different values to living. Many things to reflect on!
December '16, I couchsurfed in a Zapatista community in Chiapas Mexico, that was great, although it was pretty cold at night .
In 2017, I lived and worked in a refugee settlement in Uganda. I worked as a humanitarian worker education specialist for 5 months. I have to say I learnt more that I taught (I was working as the teacher or teachers in the settlement)
Teach, Learn, Share
I cannot teacher anything...
I can learn everything...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I guess having a nice chat with a beer as I can have with any other friend in my town. I do not like to go in circles about where I have been or people have been just to show that we all HAVE BEEN.. you know what I mean?
