Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
By traveling I will allow the experience of Life to keep my heart and mind a little more open
ABOUT ME
I recently finished my Masters degree in Peace and Conflict Management from the University of Haifa.
I'm also a graduate from University in California in the states. I graduated with educational intrigue in the Middle East: Language, Culture, as well as Geopolitics.
After my undergraduate degree I took some time to travel and see the world. I am intrigued by learning to live within the means of me and a backpack and in many ways still do it to this day. No matter where I go I always aim to travel the backwoods and least traveled backroads and to see what things hide here. As it's said, adventure and travel are the only two things that can truly make someone richer.
PHILOSOPHY
I tend to believe that collectively we stand a better chance than individually, and that beyond the layers we seemingly cover ourselves with; people are just people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosted before, and will do so in the future as I meet new people and explore new sights.
In the future when I settle down I very much look forward to hosting other young travelers who see life in a similar way and have the same yearning for more. I hope to one day provided the great hospitality that I have experienced myself. If I have ever hosted you, count on receiving nothing less than the same that you showed me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had an amazing experience in Liverpool, England with a wonderful couple who took me in while backpacking Europe and inspired me with their global travels! They left me hungry to learn more, see more, and believe more.
Interests
People grab my attention. People are an important part of our individual stories and help make them unique and memorable.
The Middle East has a piece of me. The study thereof, the engagement therein; no matter what interaction I have, this region daunts and fascinates me all at the same time. I have studied the language, the culture, the politics and everything about it inspires me.
Sports also appeal to me greatly, however Ice Hockey most of all. I've been playing it since I was young and have played many variations of the sport, including ice, inline, and street.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Nepal I trekked the Annapurna mountains.
Whimsically spent two months in Thailand; immediately moved just as whimsically to Australia for a year.
In the summer of 2011 I was a member of a statewide language immersion program for Arabic at SJSU CA.
I lived two months in Norway working on an organic environmentally friendly livestock farm.
In Israel I participated in a volunteer youth ice hockey program aimed towards Arab and Israeli youth, known as the CIHS.
Teach, Learn, Share
-We are all people who have stories and experiences. Its important that we share our stories in order to remain connected to the world around us. The world is made up of billions of people who all share moments, memories, and adventures in each other's unique journies.
-Embracing the human element makes distances seem shorter, people seem kinder, and difficult times seem simpler.
