Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still new at this whole life thing, and I've just realized that the most enjoyable trips I've taken have been so because I had people to anchor them around, whether by visiting, or traveling with. So now I'm trying to meet more people while on my journies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musically I started with metal, and worked my way into pop because I didn't have enough happy music. I listen to a wide variety of things. These days mostly a mixture of Carly Rae Jepsen, Punch Brothers, and The Ocean.

University got in the way, but I used to read a lot of fantasy. I'm trying to branch out into more sci fi now. I always love a good pop linguistics or pop psychology book too!

I know two knots, the Hebrew alphabet, a smattering of French, most of the Cyrillic alphabet, and a bunch of useless English words.
