Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
Never forget how much there is to learn! Experience as much as you can.
ABOUT ME
I recently graduated from Cal Poly where I spent my days studying wildlife and field biology, exploring the central coast, and hanging out with amazing people. This major has made me an enthusiast for the outdoors and all walks of life. I love hiking, camping, and dabble in ceramics and photography when I can. It important to me to understand the larger systems in which the world operates on both an ecological and anthropological scale. Because of this I love travelling and meeting people everywhere I go! I'm the kind of person that will form plans with someone on a whim and make it happen. A friend I met traveling last summer and I are currently on a somewhat indefinite voyage through central and South America in order to get outof our comfort zones and re-find our passions in life now that we are freshly out of school.
My travel background so far includes England, Germany, France, Indonesia, Belize, Guatemala, and I have travelled and lived in both Australia and the US thanks to my dual citizenship.
I love having good conversation and learning about people and new things/ ways of thinking, but am also always up to be goofy and have a good time.
PHILOSOPHY
Do what you can to broaden your experience but find wisdom in understandig how little we know! Treat others with respect but hold true to your own morals. Be prepared to change and love the world around you. Always listen! Always ask! Always laugh! Know that we must learn from both the dark and the light in our lives.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
It's hard to pick one vent to describe, but this one sticks out in my mind for now- I travelled trough Belize for 6 weeks on a field biology/ Anthropology study and did a 19 k hike to outlier peak. The last third of it was almost vertical and as we all tired and began to spread out, I lost my group. I'll never forget emerging from the slippery slopes into the Pygmy forest before reuniting with my friends to overlook the 2600 acres of protected rainforest. After we descended we went tubing down a local river. I loved feeling wholly comfortable and bonded with such a large group of people.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
Thanks to my education, I have a knack for memorizing and being able to identify lots of plants and animals, as well as having lots of factoids about various natural systems and operations (and regularly nerd-out on that kind of stuff!). I'm self educated on some of our more human realms (political, economic, biological) but always want to learn more! If you have a deeper understanding of an issue, activity, of place, I'd love to hear all about it :) I also hope to learn Spanish as I travel through Central and South America.
