About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience as much as possible, so one day I can be a wise old man.
ABOUT ME
Deep down I'm a born and bred farm boy but as much as I love Cornwall I'm looking to broaden my horizons. Music is and always has been my sole passion and its something that has grown and developed as I have. These days my taste can only be described as eclectic as I listen to anything that I can get hold of, from JS Bach to the Buena Vista Social Club. My plan is to study music and pursue it as a way of life. I would describe myself as a relaxed, positive person who loves nothing more than to listen to other peoples tales and experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
I think life is meant to be shared. There are so many interesting people out there regardless of their circumstance. Everyone has a story to tell and I believe they should be told.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently planning on bag packing solo around Europe this summer. I hope that couch surfing will help me meet and befriend local people so in the future I can return the favour and host them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as of yet.
Interests
Lots of my time is spent listening to, or making music. Traveling is obviously a big interest of mine. I'm very interested in people and like listening to them talk about what interests them.

Music, Movies, and Books
As I have already said narrowing down my music taste would be impossible. Every genre has its merits. Playing in a Ska band means I'm quite clued up on that but theres always more to learn! Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Gypsy jazz, Hip hop. Its all good.
My mum has greatly influenced my choice in books as she's a literary buff! Favorites have to be "Kafka on the Shore" "A Thousand Splendid Suns" "The Master and Margarita"
I'm not a huge film watcher but I do enjoy films. "Stand By Me" was my big childhood film. "A Town Called Panic" Is one of my more recent favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Performing at Glastonbury Festival along with hundreds of other talented people was one of the highlights of my life so far. Just bringing smiles and laughter to people was a great experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be more than happy to teach people something about music. I love playing music with others and I think its such a wonderful part of life. Something as simple as clapping or singing is transformed when you do it in a group.
I'm not the most practically minded person but I find people who are amazing. I love taking away simple bits of knowledge that help me do something slightly better. Even if its as simple as the best way to make a pasta sauce, or as complex as how to make makeshift shelters in the woods. All Knowledge is good.
