About Me

Bonjour ! I'm a 30 years old french teacher living in Bordeaux, France. I've been living there for seven years now.
I'm from french polynesia. Travelling is a passion - I went Easter Island, New Zealand, Australia (only in Sydney though, but I loved it), England, Scotland, Sicily, a small part of Siberia... I'm trying to learn italian since it's part of my roots, and learning a new language keeps your brain healthy ! I'm also working for an agency wich organize study travels for french teenagers during holidays.

I like to meet new people from other countries. I'm always willing to help discover Bordeaux and its surroundings : wine bars with incredible cheeses, typical markets, restaurants, and historic places (the Cathedral, old squares and streets, nice shops and bakeries...). I like to learn more and more about Bordeaux so I always have anecdotes and stories about the city !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Scotland : I was hitchhiking with a friend most of the time to save some money. It was also an excellent way to meet nice people and talk with them along the way.
One day, we wanted to go from Inverness to Skye. No cars would stop. We waited for an hour ; finally, a small fish truck stopped. Luck was with us : the driver was going to Portree, Skye ! We jumped next to him, on the three places banket. And then I smelled it : a strong, funky, nauseating smell of fish. I'm not so delicate, usually. However, for three long hours, we were stuck with this terrible odor, along with the driver's smoking cigarettes (but it was almost a blessing to smell something else), classical music (this man was sensible to poetry and art), and the incredible landscapes of Scotland in front of us. Quite funny to remember !
