About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Roadtrip in california!

ABOUT ME

Hey I'm Alex, easy-going, open-minded, enjoying the little things in life :) I've travelled quite a lot (my biggest trip being the 8 months I spent in New Zealand, probably the best time of my life!). Right now, I'm a full-time student in university (urban planning & design) and I work as a waitress on the weekends. Currently in california for one of the best roadtrips ever, sleeping into the wild and on beaches!

PHILOSOPHY

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't done much hosting so far (mostly because I've been travelling more than I am home), but I'm looking forward to it and to meet more incredible people all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even though I haven't done much so far, every time I got to spend time with local people, through couchsurfing or more often just spontaneously in all my travels, have been the best experiences. It's the only way to really get to know a place.
I'm really looking forward to surf some more in the upcoming months and to show people around the beautiful city of Montreal this summer when I get back.

Interests

I love traveling, hiking, camping, being outdoors, volley-ball, skiing, snowboarding, books, books, books (a day I don't get a moment to relax and read at least a few pages of a good book is a sad day), architecture, urban design.

I never go anywhere without my hacky sack (another good way to get to meet new people while travelling). If you don't know what hacky is, come to Montreal this summer and I'll teach you :)

And all the small things..
Walking barefoot
Getting up early and it's still dark out
Or getting up late (and having a big brunch with eggs and bacon :)
Taking a bite in a really crispy apple
Dormir à la belle étoile (don't know how to translate that one)
Wandering in cities and getting lost
Campfires
..and so much more
