Cheese lover, derby player and journalist. I grew up in a small town very close to Disneyland Paris, which might have left me with long-term trauma, but I'm coping quite well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS probably is the best way to meet with people from different backgrounds and cities at home or while travelling. I love to learn from my hosts and guests, hang out, cook with them, taste any food they feel like introducing me to. If it wasn't for CS, I wouldn't know about Kaastengels* and it would be a tragedy.

*It's the perfect combination between Dutch cheese and Indonesian brick pastry, you dip it in sweet chilly sauce ♥️

Photography, economics, climate. I'm fascinated by life in the Arctic. I'm a bit of a nerd too, I specialized in data analysis and I like to learn coding. I also love roller derby !

Music, Movies, and Books

All the music you can dance on, loads of good old classics (from Queen to Lou Reed and Pink Floyd). I have a secret weakness for French cheesy singers from the 70's to the 90's. I watch a lot of documentaries and series. My favourite writers include Jørn Riel, Simone de Beauvoir and Milan Kundera. I also love comic strips and graphic novels.
