ABOUT ME

when i was a little girl we were living in a house with many young people, i missed the rows about unwashed dishes,empty fridge and unpayed bills and only understood the wonders of living in an open house. constantly we had guest from everywhere in the world, south america mainly, ecuador, brasil, us, cuba, ostfriesland, they brought life and stories, curiousity and big eyes, and wonderful strange food. as my parents love to travel but we oftentimes were guest ourselfs and made the uncomparable experience to so to speak - enter a country from the inside.there is nothing like being introduced to somewhere by a local - what does all that say about me? i hope the essential fro the rest is just statistics - i live (usually) in big exciting exhausting berlin where you can find freedom and amazing, crazy,exciting people (but sometimes they dont hug enough) seriously enjoy my grafic studies and wonder what i will buy my daily bread with.i lived and studied in amazing istanbul and i can only tell everybody:give it a try, come, and live here - where people hug and kiss, you jump continents everyday, where there is food, sea, sun and this atmosphere. now im back in berlin to finish my studies and publish a book about istanbul to maybe widen german peoples horizon about life in turkey.after that i plan to move to another city at the sea - but on the other side of europe - from far east to far west now. i would like to go to lisbon to live there ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

most of my travel experience has been somekind of couchsurving - most wonderful thing is to be a welcomed guest. sometimes you are so lucky to have hosts who really love their place and want to show you everything so you will fall in love with it too!! sometimes it is fantastic to have a corner to crash and explore the place on your own. to find a litte piece of home somewhere abroad, to be taken in, to be welcomed, trusted-thats one one the biggest gifts

culture on the whole? all the pleasures in life: people, cinema, places, art/designing, good food!, good wine, creating, learning,music, dancing being a grafic design student, being a design thinker, cities and nature and landscapes and again people and kind of finding a way of being really happy with the way i choose in this overwhelming ocean of possibilities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i went to istanbul. i went on my own without actually speaking the language.simply because i was curious about this country i knew so little about - and most thing i knew where predudices. i was scared - it is scary. i found somekind of home. i found somekind of family. and i found out a lot about myself.
this is not an amazing thing to do, but it is an amazing one to experience.
and i found the love of my life. that is amazing!
