CURRENT MISSION
Make lots of foreign friends!
ABOUT ME
I am originally from the city of Tijuana in Baja California, Mexico. While at Georgetown University, I was a student of politics, history and sociology. I recently wrapped up a year in London while I studied my postgraduate degree. I'm now figuring out the next step in life so I can't host at the moment. Hopefully, once I get settled into whatever city I go to next, I'' be able to host surfers again.
I love meeting people from all over the world and would love to host someone from a strange and far away land if my circumstances would allow it. But I can at least hang out and show people around Orange County. Also, I ask that you read my profile thoroughly so you can be sure that I'm the kind of boy you would be ok hanging out with... just to avoid cultural misunderstandings :)

PHILOSOPHY
People often create a bubble for themselves and never leave it and they never experience a new culture or a new country. There are many people like that back home... I want to see as much of the world as I can so I can bring a new point of view back home with me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I'm now living with my family in Southern California, I can't host... however, if you're coming around this neck of the woods, I'd be happy to show you around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have couch surfed in Belgium, Poland and Germany and in Italy and it was fantastic.
I have also hosted surfers in Washington DC from far away places such as Canada, France, Czech Republic and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have time for movies because I am a workaholic. I haven't had time for books either.. at least not for leisure since I am always stuck in a book for class.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm.... A stranger licked my face on the New York subway once... that wasn't amazing but it is definitely a story. The most amazing thing I have seen was probably the Grand Canyon back in Arizona, I was a little boy and I fell in love with the desert that day. Unfortunately as a gentleman of my hue I am no longer welcome in Arizona. But the desert in California is also really awesome :).
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh I don't know what I can share... if you want to know anything about the United States tho, I'm definitely the person to go to! I studied history while at university so feel free to ask me anything and be prepared for a long litany of boring (but ultimately fascinating) historical facts.
