Hi, my name is Alexis. I'm a french young professional trying to make my way in the cinema industry.

I currently live in NY for studies. I love to travel and experience new things. Meeting new people is also one of the things I love the most. I love to discuss with persons from a different culture and learn from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The better way to experience a place is by staying with its locals. Couchsurfing enables travelers to do that.
But I think it's even more than just staying with locals, it's also an opportunity to meet interesting human beings and eventually make friends all around the world.

It's my first time on Couchsurfing and I'm really looking forward to create bounds with people from all over the planet by helping each other out.

Interests

I love to watch movies but I love even more making them! I want to be a producer so I try to learn as much as possible on the production system.

Being creative is also very important for me, that's why I also work on screenplays. Another way I use to create is by taking pictures. I am fond of photography since I am a kid.

I love sports and practiced Kung Fu for 3 years and plan to continue.

Finally I love to travel and my dream is to go to every country before I die (if I could I would even try to go to different planets).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost every kind of movie since I consider any of them to be an experience. But here is a short list of my favorite directors : Terrence Malick, Tim Burton, Christopher Nolan, Mike Cahill, Inaritu, Dany Boyle.

Concerning music I listen mostly to classic rock from 80s, 70s and 60s. My favorite bands : AC/DC, Rolling stones, Johnny Cash, Creedence clearwater, Led Zeppelin. I also listen to a lot of classical music and movies' soundtracks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some things on screenwriting, producing, photography. I can also teach french. I can even teach some Kung Fu if you would like.

I am open to learn about pretty much everything. Right now I especially want to improve my English. I am also very interested in learning more about Arts, Philosophy and Cooking.
