I love traveling: learning, exploring new cultures, getting lost in new cities. When I'm not traveling, I like to sit down with a good book, write something new, stream TV with my cat and boyfriend, see a good movie, or attend a baseball game. I have a "bad" habit of rescuing any and all animals. Taking care of the environment and the animals in it is very important to me. I'm always up for good food, wine, and a new adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and experience new cultures while traveling. While staying in hostels is great for meeting new people, they do not provide the same cultural experience as staying with locals.

Interests

I love hidden beaches & will swim absolutely anywhere from oceans to mountain streams. I enjoy visiting museums and seeing historical sights. I love bustling cities and vast nature landscapes equally. I am interested in trying more extreme adventure activities, such as rafting and skydiving. I've been a Vegetarian since August 2015 & I'm interested in learning how to cook to make vegetarianism easier. I love anything with cheese, chocolate, or wine (red or white).

Music, Movies, and Books

I shamelessly love a lot of pop culture, especially Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, FRIENDS, and the Beatles. My favorite music genre is classic rock. My favorite book/movie/television genres are science fiction and fantasy, but I read/watch almost anything. Stephen King is my favorite author.
