Hi fellow travellers!

I'm a 20-something year old french guy (too lazy to update my age in the futur haha) who loves to travel and meet people from all around the world (no way...). I've been lucky to travel quite a lot with my parents and sister when I was younger, and now that I've been bitten by the travel bug I keep on travelling with my friends, my family or alone.

I've been living in Toulouse for more than 2 years, right in the city centre, so I know the city well enough to give you some tips about what to visit and where to go out!

Since I'm new on the site, I'd like in the first place to attend different events to meet travellers, and then to host people from time to time.

As a traveller, I heard many reports telling that's a great way to fully immerse in a country's culture. So now I'm curious and looking forward this experience.

As I am also increasingly attracted by off the beaten track destinations, CS might be the perfect tool for me to connect with locals when I'm less likely to meet other travellers.

I've played saxophone for many years and I love jazz music. I ride my bike to commute 30 km a day and I love hiking in the mountains. I'm a Cannes films fan and I fancy seeing art exhibits or dramas from time to time.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

While backpacking in Iran the internet was shutdown for a week. An other traveler who was hosted by a friendly local family he met on the CS plateform gave me their phone details, and they accepted to host me without even knowing anything about me. It was trully one of the highlights of my trip!

Have you noticed that in France the bise (kiss on the cheeks to say hello) can start from left to right or right to left depending on the region and the amount of them vary from 1 to 4? ;)
