About Me

Hi ! I don't really know how to introduce myself, but I will start with the basics. I'm a 26 yo french guy from the north of France (Lille). One of my main weakness is that I'm unsure about quite everything, because I just want to try and do everything I can. What if my choice was the wrong one ? So, I must try everything I can !
Except from that, I'm very curious, resourceful and creative. I like cooking, drawing, reading, getting to know new people and cultures and drinking a good beer when I can.
I'm not a complicated guy and a good meal with a good conversation is enough to make me happy (especially when I cook it to please someone and not for myself alone).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get why I am an Couchsurfing, I will start with the 4 first years of my life, that I lived in Djibouti (Africa). I have very few memories of this time but I think it matters when it comes to my desire of travel.
After that, we came back to France with my parents, until we moved again to Düsseldorf (Germany) when I was 13 and for 5 years. My parents are teachers and use it to travel by working in the "Lycée Français" abroad.
Then I went back to France to study, until I spent 6 months living in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, to work a bit, as an alphabetisation teacher, a rugby teacher, and a particular teacher (Maths, Physics).
All theses trips just gave me the desire to travel as much as possible, even tho it's been 4 years since my trip to Malabo. But what really gave me this desire were all of my dad stories about his trips all around the world and how he always went for native way and not for the tourist way.
So now I gave myself one challenge, and it's to try travelling alone and go meet the natives and not go for the easy way. And I think the couchsurfing would be a nice way of starting it, at least.

Interests

Since I can remember, I always loved to draw, especially while in a classroom haha
Now I always have a sketchbook with me and I try to sketch as soon as I can. I also work a bit as a graphic designer. I especially love playing with letters and typography !
I also recently started painting and tattooing, because I am always eager to try new things.
