Hey what's up! My name is Alexis an 18 year old colombian/American. I was born in New York, USA and I moved to Colombia when I was 8 years old. I was an exchange student for 2014-2015 in Denmark, and currently I'm studying Biomedical Engineering in Michigan, USA. I'm a very open minded person and like learning about different cultures and ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer I am going to Europe again and I will travel around Western Europe for a month or two, I want to make the best out of my trip and meet lots of new people. Couchsurfing has many benefits, such as free housing and meeting lots of people, which are two amazing things. When I get my own apartment I would like to host some people in my own couch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an exchange student in Denmark for a whole year, without knowing what I would encounter and learning the culture and language from scratch, it was a very rewarding experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give advice about surviving in the jungles of Colombia, and life in general.
