ABOUT ME

From Argentina, Buenos Aires! Worked for ExxonMobil as a Procurement Associate for Professional / Technical Labor for 3 years. Now moving to Madrid to work as a Sales Market Specialist for Mahou San Miguel beer company.
I love playing Tennis and running. I have lived in Montreal for 6 months!
Traveling and interacting with people of different cultures is also one of my favourite hobbies.
I am interested in languages and have dominated English and french fluently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People is life! Getting to know the local people is a must to get to know the city.

Interests

I am concerned about the social crisis in Argentina and strive to compromise with it actively. I have been a member of Santa Maria de la Estrella (www.stame.org) since mid-2007, and have been coordinating spiritual formation and community outreach activities for youth groups since 2009. Furthermore, since 2010 I am a volunteer at Un techo para mi pais (www.untechoparamipais.org), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide decent living conditions for families living in extreme poverty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in Vancouver Winter Olympic Games for the opening ceremony! It was a wonderful show and I really recommend to see it at least once in life!

Teach, Learn, Share

The completion of my master in Finance piqued my interest to expand my borders, signifying a deeper exploration of the globalized world, getting to know how other countries work, soak in their culture, not only from an academic standpoint, but during daily contact, establishing relationships with people and learning how they think. I believe couchsurfing would expand my overall view of the world: the cultural exchange would enrich my point of view, assessing similarities and differences compared with my country of origin. I hope that my country finally finds a path of growth and prosperity and I would like to be an active participant in that change. Couchsurfing offers me an important opportunity to acquire knowledge about the origins and current reality of poeple living in other countries. My wish would be to endeavour to provide some of the same to my own country!
