About Me

ABOUT ME

wow, i dunno... i think my friends would say the standard things, that i am creative (i am an artist) that i am exuberant at times and will talk a lot... but that comes and goes in waves, so sometimes i will sit think and stare.
i am a dedicated friend to my friends, but i am a very one-on-one person. i am not for the entourage, am not a crowd person, but that will not stop me from going dancing, but wandering
i suppose they might say i am a practical person, pragmatic, in my own way

Interests

i like to look at things: art, trash, signs, what have you. at present my art practice revolves around shapes borrowed from life, so i spend a lot of time gathering shapes, considering their use or place, or place of use.

i tend to mill around to get an impression of a place, every place i am there tends to be a single spot that is mine, my spot. it is like a magic place. a friend of mine used to call a similar place-phenomenon the belly button, the zero point.

i like to read, i can't help but follow news voraciously (which i am taking a break from during my current travels)

i like plants, i like food, i like toys, junk. you get the idea

i was in kansas city, MO driving at the crack of dawn, and the sun was coming up over the horizon... the landscape was all hills, being flooded with light and the sun was golden and rays were pouring off its sides, and i realized that is why we draw the sun with radiating beams. it was beautiful and blinding
