ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded person who's excited and intrigued by all kinds of cultures. I'm a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and have prior experience working in international development, project management, grassroots politics, governmental affairs, architecture, non-profits, marketing, social media and a few other oddities. I love a great conversation over a beer or glass of wine.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about balance. Work and play, exercise and decadence, productivity and debauchery. There is a place for it all in life as long as you're on a forward moving trajectory that also ideally includes the betterment of others.

I'm either surfing or visiting. I can't host right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it's been great. I haven't surfed on my own yet, but I've met so many amazing people through hosting and from those I've met indirectly. I hope to surf on my way back to the states after my service is over!

Nutrition, exercise, walkable cities, cooking, techie geek stuff, shared new experiences, drawing, dancing, politics, writing, drumming, public art, independent and local businesses, and trying new things that shake up my sense of comfort with the world. I love traveling and discovering the history and little intricacies of different places and cultures.
