Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted, traveled and surfed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Germany
I had 4 distinct CS experiences in a single but intense week in Niedersachsen, Germany.
USA
I had 2 more laid-back other ones, each of them of more than one week, in San Francisco, one in the Sunset, the other in the Mission. I attended the Thanksgiving party and the February potluck.
I hosted:
A Canadian traveler
A Hawaiian father
A German Intermittent du spectacle from Dortmund
A half-Indian, half-German backpacker
A German host
Japan
I went to
A Karaoke party in Kyoto
A night into the womb in Shibuya, Tokyo
I hosted again:
- A native American student hitchiking to SF
- The other German host
- A traveler from Río who was going to Coachella
- A wonderful visitor from New York
- A German vegan
- A developer from Bombay/Doha
- A nurse
Interests
I like traveling all over Europe, although I still do not really know the Eastern and Northern part (only people coming from there).
I like going on parties with a close knight group of friends I thoroughly know, but also discovering new people coming from all over the world.

Teach, Learn, Share
Bring me a book as a gift when you come to surf my couch. Second-hand is fine. Of course you don't have to. I would really appreciate it. I am illiterate, but would love to discover what CouchSurfers think it's worth reading, eg some literature proper of their own culture. In order of preference, the language (translation?) would be in French, Spanish then English.
