CURRENT MISSION

To learn as much about myself, the Earth & where i belong in it! Sustainable Development is my calling & I'm currently in a Sustainable Technologies certificate program at Mendocino College, in Ukiah, California. I LOVE it!! I'm going to be a Solar Photovoltaic Installer & continue my education from there, such as Sustainable Construction, Residential Remodel & Repair, Permaculture, etc. I'm moving to Portland (area) Oregon next year; probably about June 1st. It's NOT because of the recent marijuana law change!! I just need to clarify that! I genuinely love Oregon, I was born near a coast (St. Augustine, Florida, grew up in Edgewater, Florida) & I've lived near coastlines my entire life. I'm a very soon-to-be Solar Photovoltaic Installer & wish to contribute my education to Oregon, as i wish to settle there. I'm glad marijuana has been legalized there, for people who need their medicine, but that's not at all what I'm after. I don't even smoke, except an occasional gathering with friends. I'm a "learner" college student & a forever learner; not a "party" college student. So I'd greatly appreciate my words being taken seriously & the individual I am also be taken seriously. ABOUT ME

I'm very open-minded,adaptable & adventurous! I enjoy people & my friends very much. I get along with everyone from all walks of life. I have a positive outlook on life. I'm into heavy metal & into the underground metal scene & actually a member of a heavy metal club. We're about love of music, hanging out; we're like a family. I'm pretty mellow & 420 friendly & I smoke tobacco,but I roll my own & only smoke organic tobacco. I LOVE animals! I like to avoid drama; I'm a mediator type though & can sometimes diffuse ugly situations :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate as an observer for the most part. I haven't really traveled & when I did, I haven't used Couchsurfing, because back then I wasen't aware of this website. I'd be a host if my living situation with a rommate were different. I've hosted a couple people a few years ago & one was from Spain. I enjoy meeting a wide variety of people & get along with everyone of all walks of life :)

Interests

Again; Sustainable Technologies is my prime interest right now. I also have a passion for heavy metal (old skool) & old skool punk rock. I'm very mellow, open-minded & curous about life. I ride a bicycle to get around; I sold my car on purpose. I'm very happy with my decision on that! I'm interested in becoming even more fit & healthy. I'm interested in life!! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

real death metal/thrash metal(no nu-metal), old skool punk rock, some psychedelic rock & dance music. For movies, my favorite kind is actually documentaries, followed by horror, some drama & action movies & comedies! I read my academic texts. Other than that i read short-stories, newspapers & magazines are good for me. I'm currently reading Real Goods Solar Living Sourcebook, which is a huge reference book, sort of like a "solar living bible". It's written & connected to The Solar Living Center, a world-renowned "solar education" center & was written by the founder John Schaeffer & a few other brilliant minds. Check it out online here; www.realgoods.com I read a book a while back called Our Bodies Many Cries For Water(can't remember the author right now, i'll add name later)about water & how most of us are chronically dehydrated, water cures headaches so why not other issues? I love movies & books geared towards education :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in Big Sur National Parks in California...I haven't done much traveling YET! My life the past 1.5 years has been pretty amazing, I've accomplished more in that period of time than I have in the past 10 years or so.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm young so I'm still learning for the most part,ha! I could teach how to sew with dental floss, how to clean well & organize your things. I could teach some patience :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A chill, kick back time. I'm very mellow, spontanious & have a lust for life! Let's find an adventure to go on! I love cycling (bicycle) & always ride alone; I'd love to do some riding with someone else!
