Hello! My name is Alexis (go by Lexie for short) and I am a 22 year old female who has graduated from Chico State University in California, USA. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and have moved around a few times in America before landing in California for the last 9 years of my life. Having moved quite a few times in my lifetime, I have always had the desire and craving to explore different places and meet new people!

When I attended college, I had the opportunity to travel and live in Brighton, England in 2012. It was the best decision I ever made, allowing me to learn about different cultures, meet new people across the world, and really grow as an individual.

I traveled across many countries and ever since I have moved back to the states, finished school and started working, I have had an incredible itch to get back on the road and travel. Nothing describes the feeling I get when I am outside of my comfort zone, exploring new places, and meeting people from other cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my past travels, I have always explored places and stayed in hostels/hotels. Although I have had a great experience doing so I am looking to experience something new on this adventure! I want to meet locals who know the area well or are willing to go explore with me. I do have one friend from University that will be joining me for travels. Her name is Nikolette Brannen and when I shared with her my new desire to travel, she was so eager to know more she decided to quit her job with me and join me on this once in a lifetime opportunity. We are willing to help out and work along the way. We are planning to travel Southeast Asia and Australia.

Interests

I am always open to try new things and experience adventures! I am open to anything and everything. Trying new cuisines to trails/hikes through mountains/waterfalls, experience the night life, finding neat places to meditate/yoga, and site seeing.

Like to stay active, listen to music/festivals, watch movies, and explore.
