ABOUT ME

Easy going, laid back, and up for a good time. I am an old soul and a constant work in progress. Enjoy having a good laugh. I tend to be a night owl. I am always interested in hearing about other’s experiences and life stories. I want to see and experience all cultures and feel very connected to the global community of humanity, animals, plants, and non-living things.
I just finished my degree in development studies and want to use this degree to help others throughout the world. On my travels I hope to become involved in community development-based and ecological/environmental sustainable projects, as well as WWOOFing (World Wide Opprotunities for Organic Farming).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently travelling and meeting locals around the world...couldnt get better than this!

Once I settle somewhere I will be more than happy to host fellow travellers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with locals in most of my travelling, including in Costa Rica and Kenya, and have greatly enjoyed experiencing how locals live and sharing stories and experiences with them. Now using CS to travel the world.

Once I finally settle down one of the first things I will do is post my couch for fellow surfers to crash!!

Travelling, living life on a whim, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, good conversation, wine, good food, cooking good food, laughing until I cry, mountains, snowboarding, learning new things, the ocean & beaches, nature’s beauty, experiential learning, discovering a new great band, concerts, relating to others, making a difference, and much more!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I feel very fortunate to have had so many great and diverse experiences. One of the most memorable and life-changing experiences I have had to date was my time in Kenya living and working in an HIV/AIDS orphanage. The children’s love for life, gratitude, and upbeat personalities despite the unthinkable hardships they had faced in their short lives greatly changed my outlook on life and what is truly important. This experience altered the path of my life for the better and I am forever grateful.

I also enjoy doing daring, adrenaline-pumping activities. I have gone paragliding, zip lining, and ridden atop animals including an ostrich and camel. I would like to bungee jump, skydive, snorkel, and lots more!

I want to share a good time with as many people as possible while making life-long connections with individuals all over the world. I believe you are only as successful as the people you know and share your life with.

I want to learn about and participate in as many cultures and diverse ways-of-living as I can. I believe this will make me a better person as I incorporate diverse ways of thinking and doing into my daily life.
