ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet people from other countries. My family hosted foreign exchange students and interns for years when I lived in Michigan, and we still love to keep in touch with as many friends abroad as we can - I love visiting and seeing everyone again. I've lived abroad in Germany and New Zealand.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted people yet through the CouchSurfing community, but have hosted and flatted with lots of students, interns and friends from abroad over the years, and they in turn have often hosted me. I like connecting through meetups, and have enjoyed being hosted both via CouchSurfing and just through friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with lots of friends in various countries over the years, but they've nearly all been people I've met and gotten to know in real life before 'surfing' their couch or guest bed on a visit. I have done couch surfing now once through the website and it was a lovely experience, and a good way to get to know a new place and new people (while at a conference).

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Hard to say - there are so many moments that happen, large and small, when you are wandering in the world. Watching the northern lights from a plane window - seeing the Great Wall - a fleeting glance of a whale shark in the Maldives - accidental participation in a Japanese game show - driving through the southern Alps of New Zealand. Of course there are some pretty amazing moments where ever home is too :)
