About Me

Namaste!

I'm a born and raised Canadian, from the Bow Valley in Alberta. I get stoked on adventures, anything outdoors, the winter, and I do love a good sufferfest.

After graduating a year ago, my only purpose has been to be a sheep farmer in New Zealand, because I always wanted to drop out of school to do it. So for now I'm leaving behind my dirtbag climbing lifestyle to travel the world and work on my sheep shearing skills in NZ. What a life, eh?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's this awesome, beautiful community of incredibly kind and cool people with so much to share. Of course I want a part in that

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a chronic folk fest-er, but I listen to a bit of everything. Recently I've started to love Nepali music.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and anything by Jon Krakauer. Mountain literature is the best literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo trekking in Iceland or Nepal? Climbing frozen waterfalls or 11000ers everyday in the Rockies?

But I did get rescued via helicopter off Mt. Rundle by Banff this summer. Not sure if it counts as amazing or stupid... but ask me if you want to hear more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a thing or two about the body, so if you need to tape an ankle, rehab an injury or work on your fitness program I can probably help. Or i can share Climbing skills, I've been an instructor for several years.

Always looking to work on my Spanish, and learn more about cooking and gardening.

Share conversation, adventures, coffee, a drink, chocolate...
If you're around I'll show you around my playground in the Rockies!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll be considerate, and quiet but not too quiet. And of course share food/drinks

Countries I’ve Visited
