ABOUT ME

We are an easy going, open minded, people/food/travel loving couple. Just moved back to England after a year and a half travelling and working in New Zealand and a few other places along the way. We lived in Bristol, England for about 5 years and travelled frequently but decided to take a longer trip this time. Filling our heads full of new knowledge and new experiences has been our objective and its going well so far.

Esther grew up in Somerset(UK)and Portugal. She was working as a secondary school Art teacher in England and has enjoyed teaching in lots of different places.
I grew up on the Isle of Wight just off the south coast of England. I've been a self employed designer/builder/landscaper for the last 7 years and enjoy learning more about plants and buildings wherever I am.

We are new to Couch Surfing! We look forward to staying with some interesting people and eventually hosting some when we settle down, though where that might be we are not too sure!

a pod of orcas swam underneath our tiny little boat in New Zealand, amazing beasties.

erm... knowledge? well, we know about art and about making things, can help with any creative ideas you might want to progress. specialists in ceramics and wood, oh and i've built over 50 treehouses if thats of any use to anybody!
We can both cook too, have picked up some amazing recipes along the way, we just generally love food and are keen on swapping any ideas on the subject.
As far as learning goes, no fixed agenda but we're thirsty for new knowledge in whatever form it may take
