ABOUT ME

It's a pleasure to meet you.
My name is Alexis and I'm a 26 years old Québécois currently cycling in Europe. My Journey started a few months ago in October and took me through amazing places around USA, Mexico and New-Zealand.

In short, I spent the last two month touring around New-Zealand with two friends discovering a beautiful country and a brand new passion. This passion then drove my decisions to bring my bike to Europe and start a journey that should take me from Berlin to Zagreb in two month.

The goal is set but the way to get there is still to be discovered. I'm embracing this journey with open eyes and a sense of freedom. I'm looking forward to discover new countries, cultures and peoples.

Meeting locals and sharing culture is for me the perfect match with travelling on bike. Taking time to enjoy everything around us, more slowly and more deeply. Hopefully Couchsurfing will allow that and add a lot of people meeting on top of all the beautiful landscape and historical culture that Europe has to offer.

CURRENT MISSION

I want to take time for myself and my current project. I have two month in Europe before going back to work in Canada and I want to make the most of it. Push myself with long distance and see how far I can go on my bike.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think this community is an amazing way to travel and meet new people. I find the idea of meeting people that lives in the city is the best way to discover it and explore it in a very different way.

I love the idea of saying yes more then no. This means, I'm interested in pretty much anything or at least, i'm curious to learn about it.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of the things I'm very proud of recently is my last travel in New-Zealand where I spent 2 month travelling the country by bike. This was my first cycling experience and I totally loved it. I discovered a new way of travelling.
