Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I CouchSurfed a couple of times when I was in Europe and I cannot recommend the system more highly. I liked the time I spent in hostels, but I found that I only met other Aussies, Kiwis and Canadians and struggled to meet the locals! CouchSurfing gets you right in with the local way of life, and the people you stay with have all the best ideas for what to see and do in their hometowns!

My advice? If you're travelling, CouchSurf for as much time as possible. The people I met in Europe have changed my perspectives on just about everything. Hostels are fun, but getting in with the locals is so much more rewarding, it makes you feel more like you're "in" the city and the culture, rather than just observing it from the outside.
Oh, and TAKE PHOTOS! All my photos seem to be of buildings and landscapes, but the only ones I'm in are ones at the pub...
