I've couchsurfed in Denver, and also met many others through the couchsurfing site. I've found that Couchsurfing has some of the nicest people in the world on this site!

I love couchsurfing because it allows me to meet someone who is from the country, or living in the country and knows the best spots. Not just the tourist destinations, but off the beaten path. I love learning about the host, and hearing about their lifestyle. My mom uses CS and has traveled all across Europe this way. She's over 60 and has stayed with gypsies, young men, old women, everything! It's changed her life as well.
